Upstream Battle – Called Off!
“It’s a fabulous idea” said all in the Fishing Industry but unfortunately GoFish SA organisers have had to cancel the show scheduled to run from 15 to 16 November at Gallagher Estate due to the lack of support from the Industry.
“This has been a difficult decision to make as I have put a lot of blood, sweat and now, recently a lot of tears into this exhibition – I have been at the mercy of the Industry that so wanted this exhibition, advised me on varying timing and packaging but has been hesitant to put their money where their mouth is.” says Dee Reuvers, Managing Director of the organising company NichePro.
“We have contacted just about everyone imaginable who would be prospective exhibitors. However, due to the apathy within the industry we just didn’t get the support needed to make this financially viable.” says Mandy O’Connor, Exhibition Consultant.
